It was believed that Junk DNA or introns present in DNA have no specific functions. Current advancements in molecular biological techniques identified that the Junk DNA comprises cis-regulatory elements that play a crucial role in the initiation of transcription. Our team collected cis-regulatory elements in the Spinal cord from the ENCODE consortium for easier access as well as to suggest a therapeutic strategy to treat Solitary Fibrous Tumour
